
The City of LaFayette Freedom Festival gets a new home for the return of the July 2 event.
The 2021 Freedom Festival will have a new home this year as the event will be held at the Ross Abney Complex at the old LaFayette High School Football Field located at 101 First Street in LaFayette.
This is a return to normal as last year's Freedom Festival was limited to just the Fireworks Show due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
In previous years, the Freedom Festival was held at the LaFayette Recreation Center.
The days events kick off at 5 p.m. with Music, Vendors and Kid Games.
Listed here is the Kid's Game Schedule:
Registration begins at 6 p.m.
Game 1: Water Target Shoot Out from 6:30 p.m. to 6:50 p.m.
Game 2: Water Ballon Toss from 7 p.m. to 7:20 p.m.
Game 3: Duck Duck Splash 7:30 p.m. to 7:50 p.m.
Game 4: Sack Race 8 p.m. to 8:20 p.m.
There will be a Cornhole Tournament by the DeMolay Group at 7 p.m.
The Fireworks Show begins at 10 p.m. on the field.
